A Message From Our Founder…
Kataleya Essence is more than a brand, it’s a lifestyle. I am an advocate of all things skincare and wellness, and while pregnant with my first daughter, I was inspired to bring this passion to life. Motherhood has been one of the most beautiful experiences I have been lucky to navigate. It brought on some of the most beautiful moments of my life, but it also came with many skin changes that I wasn’t prepared for.
Kataleya Essence is inspired by my daughter Kataleya, and my experience with the beauty of motherhood. Kataleya is a name derived from the word “Cattleya”, which is the national flower of my motherland Colombia and is also known as “Flor de Mayo” ("May flower"). I was inspired to create something that would not only help me feel beautiful but something that could also benefit my skin during the process.
Our goal is to bring you quality formulas containing some of South America’s most exotic and generationally used ingredients. Our ongoing mission is to discover all the secrets behind Orchids in skincare, all while sticking to our brand ethos of maintaining a sustainable and clean approach.

Our Story
Camila’s passion for beauty and skincare started at a very young age. She pursued a chemistry education during college and after gaining enough experience in the corporate world and a postgraduate degree in Business, she was finally able to pursue her career in the beauty and personal care industry. The combination of her background and knowledge of ingredients in the skincare world have served as wonderful tools to bring her inspiration and passion into fruition.
